Social media users in San Francisco have reported being spooked by a new earthquake. A magnitude 4.5 earthquake reportedly struck northern California on Saturday night.
According to the Mercury News of San Jose, the tremor was felt across much of the San Francisco Bay Area. According to the U.S. Geological Survey website, the epicenter of the quake was near Aromas, about 30 miles northeast of Monterey.
The National Weather Service tweeted that no tsunami was expected as a result of the quake. No one was injured and there were no reports of damage.
