Actress Lisa Banes from the movie “Vanished” is in critical condition after she was hit by a motorcyclist in New York City and fled. Police said she suffered a severe head injury.
According to reports, 65-year-old Banes was crossing the street near Lincoln Center when she was hit by a motorcyclist who fled the scene. Police officers found Baines lying in the street. She was taken to a local hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
Catherine Cranhold, Baines’ wife, is urging witnesses to give police information about the motorcycle driver. No one has yet been apprehended, according to reports.
In the 2014 thriller “Gone,” directed by David Fincher, Baines plays the mother of the main character played by Rosamund Pike.
Baines is also known for her roles in “Cocktail,” “Masters of Sex,” “The Client is Always Dead,” “Nashville” and others.
