In the city of central subordination of Chongqing in Southwestern China there was an explosion at a mine, reported China Central Television.

According to him, the emergency occurred due to an explosion caused by carbon monoxide – extremely toxic combustible colorless gas. At the time of the explosion in the mine were 24 workers – 23 of them died, one managed to escape.

Reasons for the tragedy have not been determined at the moment.
