Police temporarily blocked off the area where the special operation was conducted. The publication did not provide information about who exactly committed the murder and dismembered the corpse.
Another high-profile murder with decapitation shocked France last fall. An 18-year-old Chechen man Abdulakh Anzorov killed Samuel Paty, a teacher, on the evening of October 16, in a Paris suburb, before beheading him. The reason for the murder was the display of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in Pati’s class. Anzorov was later shot and killed by on-call police.
