A volcano in Italy has intensified and covered cities with ash

The active volcano Stromboli, located on an Italian-owned island near Sicily, activated and emitted a column of ash that covered nearby cities. ABOUT

According to newspaper sources, an explosion inside one of the craters was the cause of the ash column. Five days earlier, this phenomenon had already worried the local residents: the explosion was so strong that it was felt on the neighboring islands. In the past year, similar incidents were repeated many times, however, as a rule, they did not cause any damage, in only one case the release led to the death of a 35-year-old tourist.

At the beginning of the year, the video caught a rare phenomenon: a thunderstorm that erupted during the violent eruption of the Taal volcano in the Philippines.
