Chad Wolfe leaves office nine days before Joe Biden’s inauguration
Acting U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolfe has told his staff that he is stepping down from his post. He became the latest senior Trump administration official to resign after last Wednesday’s attempted takeover of the Capitol. A senior administration official told Reuters.
President Trump withdrew Wolfe’s nomination for Homeland Security Secretary last week, and Wolfe said he would resign immediately.
