American recovered $250,000 worth of jewelry

In Florida, a man found a bag with jewelry in it on the road. He returned it to the owners, what surprised them very much.

The incident happened in Pinellas County last week after a fundraiser for Denim and Diamonds. After the event, Joe and Elif Fitzgerald, who were sponsoring the event, put a bag of jewelry in the trunk of their car. On the way, the door opened and it fell out onto the road.

The value of the jewelry was estimated at $250,000. Despite this, the honest man did not give in to temptation and handed over his find to the owners. The couple learned of the loss after Elif saw many missed calls and messages on her phone that their jewelry had been found. They were pleasantly surprised by the stranger’s act.
Not only did the man recover the missing item, but he later contacted emergency services to make sure the bag was back in their owners’ possession. The spouses plan to meet with the honest man and give him the money as a reward.

Recall, last January in Astana, a schoolboy returned a found purse with a large sum of money. And in March 2019, an Argentinean found a briefcase, which turned out to contain almost half a million dollars, and returned it to the owner, refusing a reward.
