A person infected with COVID-19 attended a church service and potentially infected 180 people at once, according to California authorities.
The person, who later received a positive coronavirus test, attended a religious service in California on Mother’s Day. He endangered 180 other attendees at the service. Now the man remains in quarantine, according to the public health department of Byutt County.
People who attended the service were notified of the risks and were instructed what to do next. They all need to isolate themselves and take a coronavirus test.
According to Johns Hopkins University, more than 78,800 coronavirus cases have been reported in California. Over 3,200 people in the state have died.
