A nurse from a Scottish nursing home, popular after a viral video at TikTok where she was dancing with a 102-year-old man, was found dead
According to the Herald newspaper, 53-year-old Janette McKenna, who worked at Whitecraigs nursing home in Thornlibank for 10 years, was found in her home May 7. She became an Internet sensation just a few weeks ago, when social networks began to spread video of her and another woman dancing with an old man on walker. Police found the body of a 53-year-old woman in her house. “The death is considered unexplained, but there are no suspicious circumstances,” said a Scottish police officer. It is not yet known whether she was infected with coronavirus. As a precaution, her house was to be thoroughly cleaned this week.
A spokeswoman for Whitecraigs told the newspaper that McKenna has been “an extremely sought after guardian, colleague and friend for the past 10 years. “She was absolutely selfless and gave love and support to all residents and families under her care,” the spokeswoman said. – Everyone will miss her at Whitecraigs. Our sincere condolences to her family, friends and loved ones at this difficult time.
