iOS 15 has the ability to record short clips in games using gamepads for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Journalists publication noted that after the release of new operating systems from Apple gamepads for consoles from Sony and Microsoft have received new features. When you click the “Share or Create” button in games on your iPhone, the device will record a short video of the screen. The maximum duration of the video is 15 seconds.
A similar feature is available on other Apple devices – iPads and Macs. It appeared with the release of iPadOS 15 and macOS Monterey, respectively. A description of the unveiled feature on the company’s website specifies that it is “a great way to allow gamers to capture a great boss battle, a stunning combo move or a grandiose failure.” The authors noted that the feature was previously unknown; it wasn’t given any attention at Apple’s presentation.
Apple devices support controllers for consoles from Sony and Microsoft. Recently in the U.S. online store the company’s gamepad DualSense, its cost is $ 70.
