It improves the performance of the set-top box
Sony launched the sale of the PlayStation 5 game console only last week, and this week the first update of the console’s OS was released under the number 20.02-02.25.00. Its size is a decent 886 MB.
Interestingly, Sony did not accompany the update with a description of the changelog – a detailed list of innovations or fixes. But you can think that the update will eliminate some of the problems caused by both connecting external drives and switching to sleep mode right from the game. At least for now, these are the two main problems that the first users faced. What can be said for sure is that after installing the update, the performance of the console increases – this has already been reported by users of the Reddit and ResetEra forums.
