Arizona has seen the largest increase in new cases of coronavirus in the United States; public health experts attribute the increase to a too rapid removal of the lockdown.
The confirmed number of daily cases in Arizona peaked on June 8th. According to the Arizona Department of Health, about 2,000 new patients are now being detected daily in the state.
The total number of infected people in Arizona reached 35 691, the number of deaths from COVID-19 reached 1186. The analysis shows that the weekly average number of patients in the state almost tripled in two weeks.
In the state, after removing severe restrictions, wearing masks in public places is not necessary, only recommended.
