Donald Trump’s fight with the TikTok app is delayed indefinitely, writes The Wall Street Journal
A federal judge in the District Court for the District of Columbia blocked an attempt by the administration of US President Donald Trump to ban the TikTok app in the country. The Wall Street Journal reported.
With this decision, the court gave the Chinese company ByteDance more time to negotiate the sale of the application.
The decision to block the decree took effect several hours before TikTok was supposed to be banned. Thus, the struggle of the US President with the application is delayed indefinitely, the newspaper writes.
The judge did not explain his decision to block the application ban order. TikTok officials said the court presented legitimate arguments to suspend Trump’s order.
