The official authorities of Germany issued a statement to the current head of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

In the message of the official representative of the FRG government, Steffen Seibert, it is said that “Mr. Lukashenko must finally realize that sanctions restrictions have been applied against him, albeit with a delay.”

At the same time, a representative of the German government voiced the demand of official Berlin to Lukashenka.

“The authorities of Belarus must stop the violence,” Seibert announced the demand.

The high-ranking German politician focused on the fact that Berlin is monitoring the development of the situation in Belarus and condemning the events that took place over the weekend, when over 700 protesters were held during the protests in Minsk and other cities of the republic.
