Beyonce has expressed her pride in younger sister Solange after she became the first African-American woman to compose music for the New York City Ballet.
The 41-year-old took to instagram to heap praise on her sibling, 36, and shared two photos of her at the event itself.
After being presented with two beautiful bouquets, Solange was seen in grey suits near the David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center. The second picture showed her standing in front of a floral curtain.
The Bootylicious star revealed the news to her 276million followers. She wrote: “My beloved sister, there are not enough words to express my pride and admiration for you. “Congratulations for being the first African American woman composer for the New York City Ballet. It is amazing what you have done. I love you deep.
“Might you suggest that you not f*** with my sis?”
Later, Solange took to her account on social media to share ten photos of the evening. These included shots of the Theatre as well as a carousel with composition pages from her work.
Other snaps show the star in micro-braided as she wore a pair Lorraine Schwartz greenstone earrings to complement her suit.
The images were captioned by her with “heart so full” and a black heart on each side.
