The executive order applies to companies associated, according to Washington, with the defense sector of the PRC. The list includes 59 companies, including enterprises of aviation and space sectors of China.
“The executive order prohibits U.S. citizens from purchasing or selling any publicly traded securities,” the White House said in a statement.
