The presidential candidate from the Democratic Party of the USA Joe Biden told about his policy towards Russia as the head of the state.
According to Biden, he will follow the “multilateral approach” towards Russia, China and Iran. The politician noted that the USA has to be a part of a large group of states to deal with these countries. He emphasized that he wants to restore close allied relations of the USA both in Europe and in the Indian and Pacific Ocean region. At the same time, the Democrat added that he will have difficult negotiations with the European Union (EU) and he knows about it.
Earlier it was reported that Biden intends to appoint David Cohen as head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), who previously worked on the development of sanctions against Russia and investigation of “interference” in the elections by Moscow.
On November 3, regular presidential elections were held in the USA. Currently the counting of votes and proceedings on this issue are still ongoing. According to the media, Biden scored the necessary number of votes to win the election, thus bypassing Trump. The Democrat has already proclaimed himself elected president of the United States.
