U.S. President-elect Joe Biden received a second dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
The politician received the shot at ChristianaCare Hospital in Newark, Delaware. The procedure, as for the first time, took place in the presence of journalists.
The 78-year-old Biden was vaccinated with a drug from Pfizer/BioNTech. He received his first dose of the drug on December 21. He said then that he vaccinated himself to set an example for his fellow citizens and to show the safety of the drug. He said he hoped people would start going to vaccination centers as soon as the vaccine was distributed.
