U.S. President-elect Joe Biden went two days before his inauguration to pack boxes of food for the homeless and underprivileged.

The video shows Biden wearing a mask and gloves and other volunteers putting canned food into boxes of food parcels intended for the poor. The charity event was organized by Philabundance of South Philadelphia.

This way the Democrat celebrated the day of memory of human rights activist and fighter for the rights of African Americans Martin Luther King Jr., on which it is customary to do charitable works.

Biden’s inauguration is scheduled for January 20. Vice President Mike Pence, among others, has been invited to the event. At the same time, Biden called the decision of the current U.S. President Donald Trump not to attend the event, which he announced earlier, good.
