The United States will work with any Israeli government.
U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken made a statement to that effect.
According to him, the appointment of Naftali Bennett as prime minister “seems to be entirely expected.” He also responded to the comment that Bennet is an opponent of the two-state solution.
“The United States will work, as it always has, with whichever government of Israel. We believe a two-state solution is the best and probably the only way to ensure that in the future Israel remains not only a secure but a democratic state, and that the Palestinians have the state to which they are entitled,” he said.
