Immediately 4 states in the USA after lifting strict quarantine measures show a record surge in new patients – California, Arizona, Florida and Texas.

On Thursday, Arizona state health officials reported 2,519 confirmed cases per day, exceeding the previous one-day high of 2,392 reported on Tuesday. In Florida and California, indicators are even higher – 3207 and 4084 over the last day, respectively.

Record numbers appear amid a general influx of new infections and an increase in hospital admissions across the American South and West. Most of these areas removed almost all restrictions on the work of business and public places, while wearing masks is recommended, but not necessary. Part of the increase in the number of patients is associated with improved testing.
