Cambridge will not be holding face-to-face lectures in the next academic year

The University of Cambridge, in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, will not hold face-to-face lectures all next year

That’s what the Financial Times is writing about.

“Given the fact that social distance will probably still be required, the university has decided that there will be no face-to-face lectures during the next academic year,” said the educational institution.

The lectures will be held online, although the university is considering holding face-to-face classes in small groups of students while maintaining social distance.

The publication notes that this measure will shock current and new students. Other UK universities are also under pressure to announce how they plan to teach, as the June deadline comes for school leavers to decide where they want to go next.
