China’s Permanent Representative to the UN pointed to racial discrimination in the United States

Zhang Jun, China’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, has called on the UN General Assembly’s third human rights committee to pass a resolution on incidents of racial discrimination in the United States of America.

Prior to that, the United States and 39 other countries accused China of violating the rights of the Uyghurs in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The UN Permanent Representative said that the UN issue of human rights is being politicized.
