Hollywood actor Christopher Walken says technology has bypassed him, and he’s fine with that.
On Monday, the Oscar-winning performer appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” to discuss his new film, “Wild Mountain Thyme.” Walken appeared on the show via virtual chat and admitted that he had never owned a computer, and the one he used was provided by the show.
“Someone came up and set it up because I don’t have a cell phone or a computer,” the 77-year-old actor told Colbert.
Walken said he has nothing against technology, they “just passed it by.” When he’s in a movie, Walken is given a phone, but it’s mostly to find one, the actor noted. Walken added that he has never sent text messages or emails. “None,” he noted.
“A cell phone is a little like a watch: if you need it, somebody else has it,” Walken believes.
