Delta strain has reached 111 countries

Coronavirus strain Delta, first identified in India, has already reached 111 countries.

This is reported by the World Health Organization.

According to WHO, the Alrha strain (British) has been recorded in 178 countries, Veta (South African) – in 123, Gamma (Brazilian) – in 75.

The organization added that worldwide the number of infected in a day reached 2,996,465. The number of deaths from complications caused by coronavirus also increased by 3%, reaching 55,830.
