Actress Lisa Baines was the victim of a hit-and-run electric scooter in New York City.
Lisa Baines was crossing the road with her wife Kathryn Cranhold. As a result of the collision the actress received serious head injuries.
The actress reportedly spent 10 days in the hospital and died on June 14.
The NYPD said the owner of the scooter fled the scene. At this point, no one has been detained yet, but an investigation is underway.
Lisa Baines is known for her roles on Broadway. She has also played in movies and TV series “Desperate Housewives,” “Cocktail,” “The Customer is Always Dead,” “Law & Order” and others.
