Egypt will change entry regulations because of COVID

Egyptian authorities will introduce new requirements for the entry of tourists due to the spread of the Delta strain of coronavirus.

This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the country.

In particular, vaccination certificates will be checked for tourists staying two weeks before entering “red” countries where the new strains are raging.

We are talking about such countries as India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Brazil and Latin American countries.

Those arriving from these countries will also be required to take a PCR test upon arrival. If the result is positive, the launched will be sent to a medical facility.

Other tourists will be admitted on a certificate of vaccination, if the second vaccination is made at least 14 days before entry.
