On the evening of June 6, Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain congratulated Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the birth of their daughter Lilibeth Diana.

Buckingham Palace released a statement to that effect.

“The Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed of the birth of a daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and are very happy about it,” the statement said.

As it became known on Sunday, Meghan Markle’s daughter was born back on June 4 at a hospital in Santa Barbara, California. The full name of the girl, who weighed 3.4 pounds at birth, is Lilibeth “Lily” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
