Emerson Electric (NYSE: EMR) is engaged in discussions to sell a part of its residential and commercial solution business New York investment firm Blackstone Inc., Bloomberg reported late on Tuesday and citing sources who are familiar with the situation.
A agreement with the Ferguson-based firm, which is a multi-faceted conglomerate which makes automation equipment and offers other support services for engineers, can cost between $5 billion and 10 billion dependent on the assets that are which are part of the deal the sources said.
