EU opposes two-state agreement in Cyprus

The European Union is against a two-state agreement in Cyprus, split by the Turkish invasion.

According to Reuters, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen made this statement during a visit.

“I want to repeat that we will definitely never decide to create two states. We stand firmly by this opinion and are very united on this issue,” von der Leyen stressed.

Ursula von der Leyen was on a visit to Cyprus. According to her, this is not just her opinion, but the position of the EU.
