Facebook will allow users in the United States to turn off political advertising during the 2020 election campaign

Facebook head Mark Zuckerberg said he hopes to help the four million Americans who vote for the first time in the presidential election this way.
“We hear those of you who have already made a decision and just want the elections to end, so we also present the opportunity to turn off the viewing of political advertising,” he said.
Facebook and its affiliate Instagram will provide users with the option to turn off political ads when they appear or to block them using the settings features. Users will also be able to notify the company if political campaigning appears in their feed again.
In addition, the company plans to make this feature available this fall in other countries.
