A man committed suicide in a Fargo, North Dakota courtroom after being found guilty.

The man slit his own throat in the federal courthouse in Fargo in front of a judge, court staff and other witnesses, Marshal Dallas Carlson told KVRR.

“He pulled out a sharp weapon and slit his own throat,” Carlson told the publication. The report said the jury, which was not in the courtroom at the time, found the man guilty on at least some of the terrorism-related charges.

U.S. Marshals and the FBI are investigating the man’s death.
