Florida breaks the national record for the number of patients with coronavirus per day

Florida has set a new record for COVID-19 patients per day – at least 15,299 positive cases in the last day. The total number of patients in the state has reached 269,811.

Florida and Texas continue to report a surge in new infections. Florida has set a new national record for the daily increase in coronavirus cases in the United States on Sunday, as infections continue to grow worldwide.

The previous record of daily positive cases was set by California – 11 694 patients on Wednesday. Earlier, the highest rate was recorded on April 15 in New York – 11 571 people.
