French Foreign Ministry expressed its condolences on the death of Belmondo

French Foreign Ministry Undersecretary of State Clément Bon has expressed condolences on the death of French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo

The world-famous actor passed away on Monday at the age of 88.

“We have lost Magnificent, farewell and thank you!” – Bon wrote on Twitter.

French Prime Minister Jean Castex also wrote “Magnificent” on his Twitter page and posted a photo of the actor.

Belmondo has starred in dozens of films, including “The Professional,” “On Your Last Breath” and “The Magnificent.”
He was born April 9, 1933 in Noyi-sur-Seine (Seine department, France) in the family son of Parisian sculptor Paul Belmondo and Sarah Raynaud-Richard. At school, Jean-Paul Belmondo chose between sports and acting. At 20, Belmondo decided he wanted to be an actor, and enrolled at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de la Dramatique. After graduating, he began a professional career.
