French president sees signs of coronavirus return

French President Emmanuel Macron saw signs of a return of the coronavirus pandemic. This was reported by Le Figaro, which makes the main points of an interview published on the head of state’s Youtube channel.

Macron said that the situation with coronavirus remains uncertain and there are signs that the infection is “starting again.” At the same time, the president notes that France is ready for such a scenario: masks, respirators and medicines are available.

“We learned a lot during the pandemic,” the French leader summarizes and urges people to comply with sanitary measures.

The French President also advocates that wearing a mask at any public institution in the country is mandatory on August 1.

In France, according to a project by Johns Hopkins University on July 14, 209,640 cases of coronavirus infection were detected, 30,032 infected died. In the world, the total number of people infected with coronavirus exceeded 13 million people. The pandemic spanned 188 countries.
