Funeral Home Shooting In Chicago, 14 Wounded

At least 14 people were injured in the shooting that opened at a Chicago funeral home, local police said.

As the first deputy chief of the Chicago police department, Eric Carter, said, all the victims were taken to hospitals. All known victims are adults, he said. According to Carter, unknown persons in a black car drove up to the funeral procession and opened fire on people. Details of the attack are being established.

The shooting was part of a recent outbreak of violence in Chicago. On the same day, 25 people were injured in the shootings in the city, on the weekend earlier – 63 people received bullets, at least 12 people were killed.
