In Zambia, 26-year-old Gertrude Ngoma sued her boyfriend Herbert Salaliki for not proposing to her for eight years.
Ngoma admitted that she was tired of waiting for her lover to do something, so she sued him. The girl accused the young man of frivolous attitude towards their mutual future. In addition, Ngoma suspects Salaliki of cheating. “I deserve to know our future,” the girl stressed.
The young man himself attributed his procrastination to a difficult financial situation that has made it impossible for him to arrange a wedding. Salaliki also believes that the girl does not pay enough attention to him.
After listening to the claims of both parties, the judge advised the couple to solve their problem on their own, because they are not married and are not family from a legal point of view.
