Three Buchanan (Tennessee) residents were indicted after it turned out that they kept a small child in a dog cage – surrounded by mice and about 8 snakes, including a 10-foot boa
Officers found the baby on Thursday in Buchanan after reports of animal abuse were reported to the police. According to Sheriff Monte Bellew, the 18-month-old boy lived in such conditions for “some time.” The cell was swarming with bugs and smelled of urine.
