Haiti’s president shot in his residence, his wife wounded

Acting Haitian Prime Minister Claude Joseph reported that Haitian President Jouvenel Moise was killed last night at his own residence.

The First Lady suffered gunshot wounds and was evacuated to the hospital.

Joseph announced that he was now in charge of the country.
