An ice cream shop in Hong Kong started selling tear gas flavours

The main ingredient of ice cream is black pepper. It was released as a reminder of last year’s protests, during which the police used tear gas more than 16 thousand times.

“It tastes like tear gas. “It’s hard to breathe at first, and it’s very sharp and annoying. “It makes me drink a lot of water at once. I think it’s a memory that reminds me of the pain I felt during the protests and that I shouldn’t forget,” said Anita Wong, a customer who participated in the protests.

A portion of ice cream costs $5. According to the shop owner, he sells 20-30 servings every day.
