Hurricane Hannah brought floods to Texas

South Texas and northern Mexico are experiencing the strength of Hurricane Hanna, which lost some of its power when it reached land, but brought winds and downpours to the continent.

Hannah brought flash floods to parts of Texas, leaving more than 120,000 southern residents without electricity. It is reported that the coast of Corpus Christi suffered a lot of damage from the disaster, some houses, including the South Texas Art Museum, are partially flooded. The coast off Padre Island will be closed until further notice due to storm damage. The storm surge hit the islands off the Texas coast as a Category 1 hurricane. It rains for several days in the Rio Grande Valley.

In Mexico, 4 people died and 4 disappeared after Hannah’s arrival. In Texas, rescuers are rescuing dozens of people caught in flood waters.
