The founder of Tesla and SpaceX, entrepreneur Ilon Mask thinks that calculations of COVID-19 infected in the USA are unreliable. He said this to the Bloomberg Businessweek.

According to him, around mid-April, when the general statistics began to include those who have similar symptoms to coronavirus, the figures given ceased to inspire confidence.

“I believe that the statistics became unreliable when they started to include those who were not confirmed with COVIDs by the test, but simply had symptoms similar to COVIDs. And there were about a hundred similar symptoms to the coronavirus. So somewhere in mid-April, the statistics became fake,” said Musk.

The businessman noted that among the employees of the company SpaceX he heads there were no serious cases of infection.

“SpaceX has been working the whole time, as we fall under the exceptions associated with the defense sector. During the whole time of the pandemic, we had eight thousand people working full time. And zero serious cases of infection or deaths,” said Musk.

The entrepreneur also noted the same situation at Tesla in China, where 7,000 people worked.
