In Georgia, a liquid nitrogen leak at a poultry farm killed six people

Six people died and several others were seriously injured in an accident at a poultry plant in the U.S. state of Georgia, reports local TV channel WSBTV.

A liquid nitrogen leak reportedly occurred at the Prime Pak Foods plant in Gainesville. According to emergency officials, six people died and 10 others were hospitalized. Three of them are in extremely serious condition. About 130 more people were evacuated to a nearby church. They are being examined by medics.

Emergency services are working at the scene of the leak, and the cause of the accident is not yet known.
