In Israel, Netanyahu threatened to be killed in social networks

Israeli police have caught a suspect in death threats to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the department.

It is noted that the 23-year-old detainee from the city of Netanya sent similar messages on social networks to other members of the Israeli elite, in particular parliamentarians and members of the government. Now the court in Rishon Lezion will decide on the measure of restraint for the attacker. It is also known that the case has been transferred to the prosecutor’s office, which is preparing to press charges.

In June, Netanyahu wrote a statement to the police because of threats he and his family received. The prime minister did not specify who could be involved in this, however, he asked the media to condemn incitement to a crime.
