In North Korea, explained why there is not a single case of infection with COVID-19

The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, said that the country has not a single case of infection with the coronavirus COVID-19, because the authorities “blocked” it.

It is reported by Reuters, citing the Central Telegraph Agency of the DPRK.

The DPRK leader noted that the country “blocked the penetration of the virus.”

“We completely prevented the spread of the malignant virus and maintain a stable anti-epidemic situation, despite the global health crisis, which is a brilliant success,” he said.

He also said that the virus did not penetrate the DPRK because of the “far-sighted leadership ability of the party” and the “conscious cohesion of the people” who obeyed its orders.

At the same time, he urged citizens to maintain “maximum vigilance” and to remember the importance of “anti-epidemic efforts”.

There were also quarantine restrictions in North Korea. Now schools have been reopened there, but the ban on public meetings has been maintained. Wearing protective masks in public places is a must.
