The plane with U.S. House of Representatives member from the state of Texas Dade Phelan rolled off the runway, reports 7KLTV.

The incident occurred the day before at a small airport near Port Arthur. According to the pilot, the brakes of Cessna 551 Citation II failed during landing.

Fortunately, neither Phelan nor his companion were injured. The pilot was slightly injured, but after the inspection, he was released home.
