In the United States, flags were lowered in memory of the victims of the coronavirus

The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has ordered national flags to be lowered in memory of the dead of the Coronavirus.

Trump announced this on his Facebook page.

“I am lowering the flags on all federal government buildings and government monuments for three days to commemorate the Americans we lost to Coronavirus,” he wrote.

According to “The Voice of America”, earlier representatives of the American Congress asked Trump for the same gesture.

“This will be a state manifestation of grief, so necessary now for the country,” wrote the Democrat leader in the Senate in a letter to Trump.

It is noted that so far the United States has recorded more than 95,000 deaths due to coronavirus.
