Pavel Durov’s company and the Securities and Exchange Commission concluded an amicable agreement. This is stated in the documents of the Federal District Court in New York.
Last month, the founder of Telegram announced the cessation of work on his own cryptocurrency, in which investors invested money. Durov made this decision against the backdrop of a virtually lost case in court. American investors were supposed to receive only a part of the invested funds, and citizens of other countries could either return the share of investments or leave this money to Telegram as a loan and make a profit during the year.
