As of July 8, over 46,500 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the United States. The total number of patients during the pandemic in the country exceeded 3 million people.
Although outbreaks are slowing in some northeastern states, many southern states are experiencing a record increase in new cases. Florida, Texas, and Arizona were hit especially hard, with several thousand new infections registered daily.
In the first five days of July, 250,000 new cases of the disease were registered in the United States, Florida twice set records for the distribution of coronavirus during this period. On July 4th alone, the state reported 11,400 new patients.
In the US, the number of deaths from coronavirus was 132,000. There is a chance that this figure will increase in the coming weeks.
