Indian intelligence warns of increased threat of terrorist attacks against Jewish sites

India’s intelligence services issued a warning about the increased danger of terrorist attacks against Jewish and Israeli targets in the country on the eve of the Jewish holidays.

The warning was transmitted to all Indian police chiefs “to ensure the safety of Jewish and Israeli residents.

The New Delhi police commander was ordered to increase the level of preparedness. Personnel at the Israeli embassy, Israeli consulates, Jewish restaurants, synagogues, HABAD centers and community centers were advised to be vigilant.

Recall that on January 29, 2021, there was an attempted terrorist attack near the Israeli embassy in India.
